Last night, Hipster, Masterd, Penboy and I went to see Nofx in concert at the Bren Center. Also playing were some random band I dont remember, Authority Zero and Alkaline Trio. I've never heard Authority Zero before and I thought they sounded really good. Not only were they pretty good as a band, but the sound technitions actually did a good job and so they SOUNDED great too. Alkaline Trio was good, although as Heather put it 'a lot of their songs sounded the same'. On to the reason I went to the show, Nofx.

Seriously, when nofx got up to start playing, the entire pit was rocking. Nofx sure does know how to put on a show. A lot of bands just get up there and play 10 songs and that's it, but not nofx. After every song, they'd do something hilarious or at least interesting. Not to mention the fact that they sounded REALLY good. At least I thought they did, but maybe that's just coming from a die-hard nofx fan. I'd have to say it was the best set by a band I've seen in a long time (rivaled only perhaps by another nofx performance at the Warped Tour in 2000).
